I'm more concerned about all the 1st graders who will be spoon fed the idea that Columbus hated the poor little indians and deliberately killed them off with disease, or how the indians were in tune with nature and communed with the spirits, while Columbus was an evil Catholic.

Columbus did deliberately kill many Indians, and he was an evil Catholic.

Some nice religious bigotry there, dude.

Nothing in the historical record suggests that Columbus had any sort of evil intent. Only after Spanish were killed by indians, did any indians get "deliberately" killed. The misunderstandings were two way, do you think the indians were like children or something?

And typical Michael Moore history lesson.

I'm a Catholic.

I feel that Columbus was an evil Catholic.

I am a religious bigot?
