Default How come all the good players are from MN?

It seems like a disproportionate number of the high-quality posters are from MN. Is math taught better in the schools there?

It's so freaking cold and snowy that they have nothing better to do but sit inside and crunch numbers all day.

Any of these really good players from MN...if they had grown up on the ocean...would most assuredly suck at poker.

Part of it is genetic/cultural, with so much Scandinavian blood running around, we're naturally some of the hardest players to tilt.

I realize that a lot of people don't really understand the Scandosotan experience. Suffice to say that:

a) We're not unemotional, but it would sure be a shame to show it.
b) Every one of us is stubborn to all getout.
