Default On Bankroll management.

If you can make one heap of all your winnings
And risk it on one turn of pitch-and-toss,
And lose, and start again at your beginnings
And never breathe a word about your loss;
You did not have the 300 BB needed to play at that level.

Like, whoa man.

I'm in the "300BB is not nearly enough" camp.

What do you get when you guzzle down sweets?
Eating as much as an elephant eats?
What are you at getting terribly fat?
What do you think will come of that?
I don't like the look of it.

In Xanadu, did Kubla Khan
A stately pleasure-dome decree:
Where Alph, the sacred river, ran
Through caverns measureless to man:
Down to a sunless sea.
But they didn't spread less than 5/10
so it was no good to me.

I'm going to chipotle for a late lunch/dinner today.

I'm thinking of getting the barbacoa burrito with chilli-corn salsa, guacamole, and sour cream.

Corona peding upon who's working the register today or who I have with me that can buy for me. If not, then washing it down with Mr. Pibb

how's my line?

One thing that I"ll say is that when you're doing all these reload bonuses, your liquidity really really matters!

If I want to switch from site to site, without taking a day off, you ahve to be willing to have about one bankroll or half a bankroll on neteller at all times, in addition to your regular roll.

Recently I've had a very small "float" in my neteller and it's been really stressful with all the party / multipoker reloads.

So yeah, bankroll management is half the battle: it keeps you in the game.

Basically, you just have to put in the hours and bonus whore the hell out of the poker rooms, and you'll have a mountain of chips, though.

FWIW, I'd be willing to put at least half of my roll right now on a 2:1 coinflip (in my favour) if offered. Between Credit cards and a line of credit, I could stay in the game without having a huge Risk of Ruin, even if I lost the whole roll... there would be interest costs to take into consideration, but they're relatively small as long as you pay if off dilligently.

I don't know if i could handle the stress of going into debt to play poker, though... it could affect my game to the point of making me a losing player.

Edit: and sorry for being such a nit. I had a turkey dinner today, and yesterday I flopped quads. I didn't play the hand well, but apparently that doesn't really matter.
