PokerSpot CEO 2nd in chips at the WSOP
I saw this posted at www.pokerineurope.com forum
Hi, dutch boyd, former PokerSpot CEO who still owes a lot of money to players after closing down his online pokerroom has 491500 in chips at the WSOP 10k Tourney and is 2nd in chips. There are already some guys waiting in line to cash in what he owes and more players are on their way. If someone in Europe also gets money from him, consider a short trip to Vegas, it may pay. |

Re: PokerSpot CEO 2nd in chips at the WSOP
Few things poker related would make me feel better than MS getting the $50,000+ that was robbed from him. MS, if I were you, I think I'd make a personal visit. The odds you're getting on the price of a Vegas plane ticket is obviously a +EV situation. Being able to confront the "man behind the curtain" is worth the price of the ticket to me. I mean wtf, he can't pay you back your money but he can buy into a 10k tournament??

Sorry, no baseball bats, not my style. Lesley is in Vegas and as soon I talk to her, Dutch will have another sweater rooting him on. MS Sunshine |

Sue him
Sue the prick for breach of contract and fraud, serve him as soon as he is in the money with a TRO (and serve Binions) attaching his prospective winnings.
Binions is only 2 blocks from the Courthouse. If you really are due the money, are willing to find a lawyer for a contingent fee case (about 40%) and want to collect, this is your chance. |

Re: PokerSpot CEO 2nd in chips at the WSOP
If the tourney ends right now, he would collect 1.3 million US dollars as 2nd place. Perhaps he bluffs his way into the final 45, just like how he bluffed his pokerspot customers.
But seriously, I hope MS gets his $50k back, because that's really quite a bit of money unless you are Bill Gates. |

50k?????
MS,
of course itīs non of my busines, and you arenīt obligated to answer in any way, but how come that you had 50k on that site??? I played there some tourneys and was up about 400, but as far as I remember there werenīt too many cash games going. Did you really win that much or did you invest in PokerSpot? Just (very) curious. Good luck in getting the money. Martin Aigner |

Re: 50k?????
The number is $56,838. My wife and I played short handed $20-40 for several months after Russ came out with a payment plan. We just kept winning. Finally it was just bosox and us.
The WSOP is suddenly more interesting this year, but without him finishing 6th or above, we will most likely get nothing. I believe if Russ has time to think about this, him only paying if he wins, if he has enough to pay everyone he will. That leaves him with his name cleared and the software. He doesn't need this over his head if he wishes to continue with online gaming. Also now that he has a taste for big money live tournaments it would be diffircult for him to avoid some legal action from the failure of PokerSpot. Also top three showing in the WSOP would bring alot of press and he would benefit from good press rather than bad press. IMO If he makes the final table I will drive the 200 miles to see it tomorrow.
