I get K [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]K [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] on button. I have 3K. UTG covers me and BB has 1100
UTG makes it 40, I make it 140, BB makes it 300. UTG folds. I think for 20 seconds and go all in for his last 790. Im a stubborn ass....that is all

Why not just call and let him push the flop? If he's getting cute, he is more likely to push the flop than he is to call all-in, say, with 99.

I don't understand why you say that. He's basically repping aces, right? So if he has them, we're going broke no matter what. But if he's bluffing, if we push he may not call. Whereas if we call, he is very unlikely to give up on his bluff and very likely to continue bluffing by pushing the flop.

Call and push flop lets him get away with QQ/JJ if a K flops or something like that, and also looks scary as hell. If he does have something like AKs or a lesser pair here, calling on the button lets him push the flop.

i beleive calling here is far superior to pushing. unless villain had donkish tendencies or u had a maniacial image, you put him in a position where he cannot make a mistake. if he has AA he gets our money regardless, if we call we get a better shot at QQ JJ 1010 and air.

calling is a poor option because A high flops come 30% of the time and you may end up check-folding the best hand.
fold or push....I don't see how folding here would be a big mistake though, pretty unlikely he'll do this with QQ or worse, no? unless you've been 3 betting pre often and they view you as preflop-maniac.
