Underfull of 99\'s debatable turn play.
Party 10/20 9-handed
I've been playing very aggro and fast, taking advantage of some nits. Mostly by coming over the top of continuation bets. Villain is tight, but may have some moves. 17/7/1.8 after 200 hands. He has 2800, I cover. Villain opens in MP to 90, I call in CO with 9 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]9 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Flop comes J96 with 2clubs. He pots it, I raise to 600, he thinks for a while then calls. Turn is a J [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], he checks, I check? (Action Killer for overpair?) River is a blank rag. He bets 600ish, I push. Comments on all streets appreciated. |

Re: Underfull of 99\'s debatable turn play.
The turn check is kind of weird. That's a perfect card to take the pot away; would you check behind if you were bluffing the flop? I don't know if I would check the turn with any hand that I'd raise the flop with (bluff, set, AJs, flush draw, straight draw).

Re: Underfull of 99\'s debatable turn play.
I like 800 on turn, you want him to come over the top with a flush, you want to "price him in" if he's got a big pair with a club.
