CltPike checks. themouse checks. ** Dealing Turn ** [ 3c ] RWinfree bets [250]. Hero is all-In [860] CltPike folds. themouse folds. RWinfree is all-In [600] ** Dealing River ** [ Kh ] RWinfree shows [ Ts, 9s ] a straight, nine to king. Hero shows [ Qc, 3h ] two pairs, kings and queens. Hero wins 10 chips from side pot #1 with two pairs, kings and queens. RWinfree wins 2500 chips from the main pot with a straight, nine to king. I have trouble with hands where a crappy hand becomes somewhat less crappy on the turn and I get sucked in. My thoughts... Q3 preflop is pants but I'm in the BB, 3 callers, I get to see a free flop for once, thats nice. KQJ flop is not so nice although with Q3 I wasn't expecting much. I'm not putting any money in this pot whatsoever, no sir, I check and so does everyone else, thats odd. A bloody 3 on the turn. Thats 2 pair. UTG leads out for 250 but if I am honest I didn't really stop and think about what his bet meant, all I could see was my 2 pair, all-in or bust, bust as it turned out. I'd love to tell you how I managed to build my monster 10 chips in a 2200 stack only to bust out when my QQ was beaten by a 95o, but thats just boring and maybe a little less than truthful. In any case I went from definitely NOT putting any money into this hand to busting out all for the sake of a bloody 3. I'm annoyed that I didn't have the discipline to pause and think before acting; blinded by 2 pair. |

"Don't go broke in an unraised pot." -- Doyle Brunson
"When the board is all high cards, you usually need a pair and a straight draw...or top two to proceede." -- Mike Caro Looks like you just lost your cool and over played it a bit. |
