Bluffs all over the place
Yesterday I played 800 hands of $50NL 6max to clear a bonus at a prima skin, and lost 3 buy-ins while at it. Luckily, the hand histories contain everyone's actual hand, even if you fold.
So I'm going over some hands where I lost a decent amount of money, namely the High Card and One Pair hands. It turns out, these people are bluffing like mad. With absolutely nothing. Should I feel bad for folding to these bluffs. I mean these blufs were all over the place! For example, I raise AK, miss the flop, checked through to and then led into on the turn (total bluff on a third club falling), should I feel bad for folding to these kinds of things? Is it possible that it's my bad play that leads to the bluffs? I would like to post a few examples, but the converter won't accept these hand histories from Bet365poker. EDIT: Typing up some more eye-friendly example hands. |

Re: 2 examples
Yes I've noticed too alot of people tend to buy pots with just overcards on turn/river on prima 50NL. Actually so much that I started calling with a missed AK on river and winning quite a few pots(more than I thought before, atleast).
On hand one why didn't you just continuation bet on the flop? Could've gotten it right there. Hand2 you're folding for 10$ bet into 40$pot (10 in 50 for you) which isn't what I'd do unless i was sure this guy NEVER bluffed, but as I mentioned it does happen more than you think at this level. You only have to be right once in five times or whatever it is for this to be profitable play. |
