I did a search and found one link that did not disclose who HoldemPhil is? Sorry, I just downloaded PokerStars and watched him play $5K heads up matches and I'm interested to see who this is.

Not sure, but I believe he was playing some $5K HU matches a few days ago as well. Yesterday HoldemPhil asked his opponent if he wanted to play for $25K. Man, a freshman at Duke is playing for that kind of money?

Yup. He had a 25k match against K_ROSE last year that drew a lot of attention. Which he won.

HoldemPhil went to my high school. No kidding. I graduated in '99 though, so I have absolutely no idea who he is... I just know it because one of his friends was on here once talking about where they're from, then I ran into him on Stars and asked him.
