Default Flush draw mayhem

Is this why you don't call raises with Axs? Or is it ok? Any other mistakes? I AM JWLIV.

You played this bad on all accounts. Fold preflop.

Just call the flop and see what the action brings on the turn. I'm not too sure why you're charging yourself to draw. Take it as cheap as you can and if he doesn't give you the odds to call for a flush draw on the turn, FOLD. It's not a crime to fold a flush draw.

Why can't I semi-bluff raise and maybe get a free card?

And what's wrong with the preflop call? Not trying to be argumentative, I seriously don't know why.

I don't like it because you're putting too much of your stack in on a semi-bluff.

Your short handed, a call isn't bad preflop but you called a raise preflop with a hand that could be dominated.

I'm not showing down top pair with that hand. I am going for the flush.

Can you only call preflop raises with SCs and PPs?

That's fine, you don't agree. I prefer to call hands that have flush/straight value if I'm going to call a raise with a less than premium hand. A8s doesn't have much value. Of the number of times you call a raise with it, how often are you going to hit a flush draw? Then you have to factor in how often it's going to pay off. I prefer to find a hand that can give me more than one way to win.

IMHO- of course

I would fold this preflop - youre in a rubbish position relative to the raiser (I would want a few smooth callers in between you and the raiser), and in a not-so-good position relative to the button.

On the flop, I probably would smooth call the continuation bet. Too many times here I think your semibluff raise will be re-popped back.

If a rag came on the turn, and its HU, bet if checked to.

Edit: No, 2nd thoughts, take a free card...

Yeah that does make more sense. Gonna start throwing these out in a raised pot headsup.

Not sure if that was sarcastic or not but you WERE out of position and there was NO way for you to know it would be heads up. You have no information on what your opponents behind you hold, so for all you know you are looking at a reraise behind you preflop.

Anyway-I've said all I can say about it. Take it or leave it. The beauty of freedom.
