Default 25NL - rivered second pair

Villain has been limping suited junk every now and then, but bets when he's hit something. He has not won a pot in a long time.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.25 BB (9 handed) converter

saw flop|saw showdown

1) river action, call or fold?
2) Should I get more aggressive on the turn here? Whata bout the flop?

Flop cold call makes me want to cry.

Turn call makes me want to hurl.

River cakk makes me want to die.

BTW-- he was not drawing. Original min better on the flop had nada, but when he continues 1/2 pot on turn, and your call still doesn't slow him on a blank river, he's got a hand better than a pair of 8's.

Why is that? He's getting decent odds on both streets, although he is not closing the action on the flop.

Suited Ace weak kicker, I think he's beat preflop by a better ace, or a pp. Don't like the cold call.

You played it fine. You gotta fold that river unless villain is a total maniac.

Why? Hero could raise here, but in a multiway pot, flatcalling will keep smaller flush draws in, and we will make a LOT of money of them if we hit.
Additionally, against several opponents, I'd hate to raise and then have someone reraise/push.

Also not sure whats wrong with turn call. MP seems like he likes his hand, you have less FE here w/ a raise, and you're not getting terrible odds.

I would fold the river.

Your calling Pf raises with Ax in middle position.Am i the only person who thinks this is a bad call and doesnt do it?
Btw, i think the turn call was ok, since you had odds.

I dont mind the call on the flop, and I can see calling the turn, you're not getting terrible odds and if you hit you'll get paid big time.

check/fold river.

You should fold or raise on the flop. And go all in if reraised. You had no position to call, because you had the raiser to your right. You had position on him but you want the others run to you.
