Default KQs Live 1/2, disagreement w/ a 2+2er

So we're at the local Indian casino last night playing 1/2 with another one of our friends that we kinda train but refuses to read this site (too bad for him). The table is literally full of LPP who bet with nothing less than two pair and sometimes only a straight and up (I like not losing money to them w/ TPTK). So heres the hand:
I have KQs OTB and i raise, only my two friends were not in the pot so it must have been 14 sb to the flop. The flop comes T9x rainbow with 1 of my suit. theres a bet from early position, from a non aggressive person, and about 4 callers in between and one person yet to act. Now heres where the disagreement comes. What to do now, we both think its an easy decision but disagree on the act. What do you guys choose and why.

You have a gutshot (not OESD or better draw), your overcards aren't going to be any cleaner than they already are, and you ain't foldin' nobody, no-how. Call. Spike a J. Profit.

Backdoor flush draw, gutshot nut straight draw, and two overcards with at least five other people in the pot and the possibility of a free card on the river??? I refuse to do forum polls, but the answer is an obvious raise.

C'mon, even having to take a poll on it is kinda silly.

Edit: I may have spoke too soon - Wookie may have a thought or two to share on this?

With this many people in the pot, how often do you really think you'll get that free card? Also, a free river may not be worth all that much to you since the turn could kill your backdoor draw and/or your pair draw (A of not your suit, for example). I def. want to see the turn, but I'm not committed to seeing the river just yet.

Easy call. Your draw is not strong enough to warrant a free card. Call and trap the field for 2 if you improve on the turn.

Even the thought of building mad value isn't enough to persuade you to raise?

So what if you build a gigantic pot. It cost you far too much of your own money to build that pot.

You can't build mad value without mad equity.

I believe that we have to raise here. I think that both the equity and the chance at a free card warrents it. Not counting the overcards as outs, we have 4 for the gutshot and 1.5 for the bdfd which gives us at LEAST 5. Thats 20% to hit by the river and the fact that we might get a free card and will build the pot. I do now see some warrent in calling as we might be able to get 2 bets on the turn instead, but i still think that this raise is good, for value and/or free card.
