So what's villain pushing over the top with? I'm obviously right to make my play because I have the nuts, but what could he have? Will post results after I hear some responses.

I think you played this hand poorly. You should take the lead here, dont let the villain dictate the potsize. Luckily he paid you off. If im in this hand Im leading flop, turn, and pushing river.

What do I think he has? KK, AQ, or 9Q/910

Any [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] kills your action for the rest of the hand.

As much as I'd like to slowplay here, I think I weak-lead/3bet the turn here. If he calls, so be it.

He has AT here a good amount of the time, or Tx [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].

if villain has a set or two pair you should be charging him more in case another K, J, 8, or spade shows up to kill your action. if villain has a flush draw or straight draw then checking makes you lose a lot of value as well. the line you took wasn't optimal and you're lucky that the cards came like that and he was still willing to get it all in.
