Default Too tight or a standard fold in a marginal situation

MP2 was 38/4 after 40 hands
Villain was 28/3 after about 30 hands

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $25 Hero (9 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx

Hero ($23.90)
UTG ($24.75)
UTG+1 ($27.20)
MP1 ($22.15)
MP2 ($22.65)
MP3 ($18.45)
CO ($31.20)
Button ($33.77)
SB ($41.30)

Preflop: Hero is BB with T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. UTG+1 posts a blind of $0.35. SB posts a blind of $0.10.
2 folds</font>, MP1 calls $0.25, MP2 raises to $1</font>, 3 folds</font>, SB (poster) calls $0.90, Hero calls $0.75, MP1 folds.

Flop: ($3.60) 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3 players)</font>
SB bets $1</font>, Hero raises to $3.5</font>, MP2 folds, SB raises to $8</font>, Hero folds.

Final Pot: $15.10

Do you think my line is too conservative or is this pretty standard. I didn't reraise preflop due to MP2's low raise percentage...is this a bad idea. After villain's reraise on flop I figured he had a set, possibly a bigger PP, or overcards w/flush draw. Therefore I believed I was only slightly ahead or way behind.

I like it, but I probably make that raise more like $5 instead of $3.50. Good fold.

IMO, your line was fine, even the amount of the flop raise. You still have the PFR left to act, and your amount is going to save you money if he 3-bets with a bigger pp. It's also enough to show both villians that you have a nice made hand. SB donkbet into the PFR, and so when he 3-bets that shows alot of strength, and you make a good laydown. You're probably ahead sometimes here; but, it's going to cost you most of your stack to find out and it's probably best to just take SB's action at face value and fold.
