New to the table so no reads

Party Poker 10/20 Hold'em (6 max, 5 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is MP with Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
UTG calls, Hero raises, 2 folds, BB calls, UTG calls.

Flop: (6.50 SB) K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 players)
BB checks, UTG bets, Hero raises, BB folds, UTG calls.

Turn: (5.25 BB) Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)
UTG bets, Hero calls.

River: (7.25 BB) 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
UTG bets, Hero calls.

Final Pot: 9.25 BB

Hmm, I might fold the river against a sane opponent who might realize a bluff won't work on this board if you've called the turn.

Why call the turn then? You can't fold this river.

I call the turn because I hope he does not have a flush and will check the river. This +implied odds to fill up make my decision EV+ IMO.

You have to call the turn in the hope of filling up. Then, I would not be able to fold this river because frequesntly enough you will not see a flush.

I dont think villain has the flush 100% of the time so you dont have to fill up every time.

I would be pretty sure of his flush though if he fires again on the river so I call the turn and fold the river. On the turn villain might try to make you fold, but after you called a 4flush-turn I dont think he expects you to fold the river, he is just betting for value and has you beat.
