absolute points for cash bonus
I got an email from absolute poker this week with an offer to exchange 5000 ARP (absolute reward points) for $20, straight up, no play requirement, no deposit, noithing.
As far as i can tell, the only thing ARPs are good for is freeroll entrys- though the freerolls are good ones, i am not a tourney player. so i said, 'hell, yeah!' and accepted the conversion of points to cash. $20 extra was in my acct the next time i logged in. anyone else get this? any thoughts? absolute, imo, consistantly provides the best customer incentives in the biz (except, maybe, for party and their badass monthly reloads). |

Re: absolute points for cash bonus
I got the letter and redeemed some points for cash. Judging from how I've done in the points freerolls, it was about a wash EV-wise. Absolute has some problems, but rewards for playing isn't one of them. It's become my primary site,

Re: absolute points for cash bonus
i got the same mail. thing is though that minimum cash out is $50. so either got to play and win or deposit $30 and then cash out.
i no longer play at that rock garden. having pots of $5 at 1/2 are not my idea of fun or profit. |

Re: absolute points for cash bonus
Don't they still have that BIG freeroll, like $25k for 12,500 points?
I seem to remember seeing this, and there was a HUGE overlay on it. |

Re: absolute points for cash bonus
Maybe mediocre, but definately not Party or Pacific piss poor. Those guys stick out like a sore thumb and last for minutes before they are carved up by the book readers........
