Default Should I stick with Live play?

I built my bankroll online, but I have since started playing mid-high in B and M's and doing very well....At the same time however, my online play has significantly been less profitable even though I see more hands. I have three theory's for this....

1) Live play I tend to focus a lot more and become robotic online.

2) It is just a normal swing on two different fronts and I will seee the online production come back up.

3) There are far more donks in the live rooms and I develop different habits for live play than I should for online play, but play the same for both

Anything that I can do to help Identify which it is?

2 added to 3 and 1, is probably why your online play is deteriorating/less than perfect right now. I am in the same boat as you, though. The trick, in my book, is figuring out a way to be less robotic w/ your online play, something I havent been able to do yet. I can no longer sit more than 2 hours playing online, but I can sit in a casino for as long as I want, its odd.

I have just recently quit playing live and am only playing online currently. I think the answer lies somewhere in between all 3 of these causes.

IMO when you play alot of tables online your play has to be very robotic and you don't do anything that has any flair b/c it is hard to do it at the optimal time b/c you aren't completely focused on the particular variables of that game.

Also, there could be some fluctuation going on as well. In addition, to fluctuation it is generally accepted that playing the same limit live as you do online will be easier for a winning online player. A 15/30 online game is typically much more representative of a 30/60 live game then a 15/30 live game. So you are infact probably playing an easier game. And as such your game may have deteriorated or you may have altered some of your strategies and as such your online game may be showing some of these changes in your results.

My suggestion would be to keep playing live, if you find that the dedication of time is worth it. In regards to your online play, I would suggest that maybe you play fewer tables for awhile if you want to be able to play in a less unrobotic way... It is imperative if that is the case that you pay specific attention to the games you are in in that case.
