4-handed. Villain just 3-bet me last hand with KJs and lost when I called him down with AJs and hit a flush on the river. This is the very next hand.

no. bet this, he will call with A high but prob wont bet it for you. He prob also wont call a raise.

you should just bet this...most players are happy to check their A here rather than bet it...you also can't guarantee that a smaller pair will bet...most of the time going for a river c/r is just getting too fancy...

There was a hand I was in where the same thing happened to me, but it was a Q88 board...

Well, I guess I really screwed that one up. I think the flop check/raise is probably best. Don't know why I didn't do that this time.

definitely c/r flop and sometimes c/c flop and c/r turn. judging from the opponent's play seen in these results, i have the feeling he won't be checking through the turn very often after you c/c flop. [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]
