Default jason_t v. DeathDonkey

Ocean's 11 8/16, six handed or so with bakku too. I haven't been at the table long, and DeathDonkey and I haven't played much together before.

DeathDonkey opens in the CO and I call in the BB with K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].

Flop: K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
I check/raise and DeathDonkey calls.

Turn: 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
I bet, DeathDonkey raises and I call.

River: 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

I did one thing, DeathDonkey says I should have done another and now I think a third line may be best. Sup?

Bet/fold. I don't give him a free showdown. Though I suck.

I call the flop, c/r the turn, folding to a 3-bet.

In your given situation, I donkbet.

I'm thinking bet/call since having a CR 3-bet here stinks. I put DD on KT, T9, QJ, maybe a set, maybe less sometimes.

My first instinct is bet/call, and that's likely what I would have done during the hand. Two pair heads up = lots of showdown value. I don't like c/ring here because seeing a threebet would make me puke

But as I tihnk about it more, maybe bet/fold is the better line. Hands you beat like KJ will most likely just call a river raise. DeathDonkey surely has to know you have a hand after you call the turn and lead river - there are no draws after you call his turn raise, so he knows you are made somehow. He will probably not raise you unless he has you beat.

Therefore... bet/fold? Flame me

you cred (which can yield 3, 2 or 0).
dd thinks should have bet (2 when raised or 1).
now you think you should have check called (1 or 0)?

ok, even if that is out of order, DD has basically said that he has TPSK or better. since you know he will bet again, one more bet is the optimum amount to put in on this river, if you put in more, you are probably beat.

yes no?

to those worried about giving a free sd, we are assuming that villian was turn semi/bluff-raising. if he has a made hand, that 5 is a blank. if he is not bluff-raising in one form or another, he will fire again for value on the river.

I'm being told by bakku that the board was

Flop: K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
Turn: T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
River: 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
