Default B&M limits equivalent to Party?

Mainly talking about Commerce since that's where I'm playing, but feel free to chime in about your local casino, the limits might be slightly different like 10/20 instead of 9/18.

From what I've heard/guessed the B&M limits are equivalent to these party games:

4/8 - .5/1

6/12 - 1/2

9/18 - 2/4

15/30 - 3/6

20/40 - 5/10

Am I close?

I've seen 4/8 games looser than the average party .5/1 game.

Other than that, I can't say.

Every casino and every game will vary depending on the time and people BUT I think you're in a reasonable ballpark.

To further distinguish, though, I think the jumps on party from .5/1 to 2/4 is a BIGGER jump than 4/8 - 9/18 live ... 2/4 is probably what you'd think is closer to 10/20 or even 15/30 live.

I have seen some 15/30 live (never played) that looked much like a part .5/1 game.

jeffage even described a 80/160 hand that sounded much like a party 2/4 hand. I think it really varies from game to game even within the same room.

At the local casino that I play at, their 10/20 game plays like .5/1 Party most of the time. Occassionally it will tighten up and be similar to 3/6 online.

B&M games have a different character than online games, and I don't think they can be compared as easily as most people seem to think. People call more, "making the trip worth it" or something. People raise more online. Maybe they aren't embarrassed to show down that missed flush draw with overs online, where they might be in a live game, so it keeps them from raising the flop. From my experience the relatively low casino levels are equivalent in total skill to the relatively low online levels, though the mistakes all players make are much different.
