Quick question
Can someone point me in the direction of a post that explains the "M" concept I keep seeing mentioned?
I'd search for it, but do you know how hard a search for a single letter would be? Thanks. |

Re: Quick question
Your stack size divided by the cost of one round (blinds + antes). The higher the M, the more room you have to play poker, the lower the M, the more desperate you are.

Re: Quick question
Great, thanks.
To follow that, is there a threshold of M where pushing becomes the play rather than ?xBB raises? I'm approaching this from a SNG(my normal realm) mindset. I'm sure I can search for some of the other conceptual differences between tourney types, although if you have a bookmarked post, I'd gladly read it. |

Re: Quick question
It is in a book. Harrington on Hold'Em, Volume 2 (buy volume 1 first).
