Default When Isolation Raises Go Bad

1/2 6max. Initial raiser has made four terrible steal attempts from the cutoff in five unopened pots. I suspect he's raising with any two trash cards. I decided to play back with a middleweight ace. Too marginal?

Preflop: Hero is Button with A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].

Flop: (10 SB) 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 players)

I don't think folding is an option with 5 BB, 5 outs and a nasty board. The limper does not make any sense and frequently donkbets. I want a free card, so I raise. yes? If we change the 8 on the flop to a four, is it an obvious fold?

Turn: (7 BB) A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets, SB calls.

Lucky card, sparing me a third cutting editorial on my play.

Final Pot: 11 BB

I [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 6max. The limper did shoot my initial plan in the foot.

i don't play a lot og 6 max, but you did the ol' positional bitchslap which let you draw that ace.
