What\'s the right play?
Live game in AC. I'm there for a friend's bday and I have been there for less than an orbit and haven't played or paid attention to a single hand. I'm donking 1-2, waiting for everyone to come down and go to breakfast and I found myself having to make a decision.
MP2: $125 MP3: $250 Hero: $197 (200 max) 3 limpers. I have QQ in CO and raise to 15. Button calls. 2 limpers call. $63 Flop: Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Checked to me. I check. Button checks. Turn: 9 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] MP2 leads for $20 and has about $70 left. MP3 min raises and has me covered. MP2 quickly counts out reds, I think to call, then seems to realize it's not on him yet. $123 in the pot. My play? topout |

Re: What\'s the right play?
Three-betting puts shortstack at a decision for all his chips, so I'd probably actually do that. I don't know if that line is horrendus or not. I'd probably three-bet in this situation, though.

Re: What\'s the right play?
Flop check is horrible. make standard continuation bet.
shove all in. You're almost pot committed even if behind. |
