i like the flop raise, but i think u have to check the turn through for pot control and to induce bluffs. the only real draws are back door.

Can anyone give me some advice here? I could use it. I should also add that I had no read on this guy.

I like how you played this hand. You knew you were most likely ahead and kept making him pay for it. He most likely had TPGK and couldn't get rid of the hand, so all his calls were ok, then his 3 outter hits the river and all is good. I would fold disgustingly.

Limp preflop, or throw in a real raise, don't go in the middle like this. There are 3 limpers in front of you, you need to bet more there if raising. As played, flop raise is good. SLOW DOWN on that turn, overcard, plus a straight just got there. Just check behind. Call the river within reason.

I'd raise more preflop. Say to 6. Flop raise is good.
Check behind on the turn, and call a reasonable river bet.
As played, fold to the turn raise.
