Default Gillette Stadium Logo

What is that logo in the middle of the field? It looks like an oil well to me but I'm stupid and not sure. Thanks.

After a long google search it turns out that the symbol in the center of the field that you are wondering about is a symbol of Gillette Stadium itself.

[ QUOTE ]
The logo you see painted in gray on the field is that of Gillette Stadium itself. The logo represents the lighthouse and bridge that are part of the stadium in the north end zone and represent a tie to the New England region.
