Default Playing crap from the SB (live 4/8 6handed)

No reads -- new table, but seems a little more on the aggro side than most.

Live 4/8 Hold'em (6 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is SB with 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
UTG calls, MP calls, 1 fold, Button calls, Hero completes, BB raises, UTG calls, MP calls, Button calls, Hero calls.

Flop: (10 SB) 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (5 players)
Hero checks, BB checks, UTG bets, MP calls, Button folds, Hero calls, BB calls.

Turn: (7 BB) 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (4 players)
Hero bets...

Flop call too loose? Comments on turn play?

Like the flop call. For $2 you have to complete that hand after so many peeps limped in. As for the turn play, its acceptable. Don't know how loose it is, but hopefully you will get someone to call down with second best. Don't know how else to protect this hand from the possible draws, so betting out was probably the best line.

Ya. The BB will be two cold, but it will be one bet to everyone else. I don't see how that protects the hand? Move is plus EV, but how is that gonna protect?

because BB is likely drawing and this is the only way to make him (and everyone else) 2?

BB likely just has overcards, unless he plays big club cards very passively, so I don't think he's much of a concern.

The problem is, I don't think betting protects your hand either. Betting a paired turn card freezes a lot of opponents, especially 4/8 live ones. UTG probably isn't raising you here. Even if he does some of the time, I think you make more if you check-raise and trap a 3 or more people for 2.
