Whenever you get the "special" flashing at you, click the left mouse button.
Also, you can click the left button to have the chick on the bike come smack the dude again. My high score was around 9,000 something. It's a weird frigging game though.

If you are on your way up, clicking the button will deliver a downward boost (if available) and if you're on your way down then you can click to get an upward boost (if you have any left). You get additional speed for combos (special-->boost). There is an indicator showing what kinds of people are coming up (if you can make any sense of it) to determine if it's a good idea to deliver any kind of boosts.

[/ QUOTE ] If you do it right, you can use a boost from the ground, then a downward boost, then an upward boost to take off like crazy
