Default Curious internet problem Id like feedback on.

For the last day Ive been experiencing a curious problem with my internet access that I was hoping someone here had experienced and solved.

It seems about half the internet disappeared . This site works fine, so does, say amazon.com and SBRlines.com (the line shopping tool of sportsbookreview.com).

Most of the rest of the internet, however, disappeared. espn.com, cnn.com, nytimes.com, every sportsbook i use, and sportsbookreview.com, etc. all come up with DNS errors/Cannot find server error. And probably related, AIM cant connect either.

Ran checks... no viruses, spyware, or adware. Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks in advance

This is often caused by an upstream DNS or routing issue that you'll have no control over. To test if it's a DNS issue, configure your laptop to use a different DNS server (try 199.72.1.1).

(PS - I grew up in Charleston)
