So I made the tough laydown.... 2 pairs on turn
Party Poker 5/10 Hold'em (6 max, 6 handed) converter
MP: 20/11/.94 after 100 Other guy readless... Preflop: Hero is BB with A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. UTG calls, MP calls, CO calls, 1 fold, SB completes, Hero checks. Flop: (5 SB) 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (5 players) SB checks, Hero bets, UTG calls, MP calls, CO calls, SB calls. Turn: (5 BB) 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (5 players) SB checks, Hero bets, UTG raises, MP 3-bets, CO folds, SB folds, Hero ...? It's so hard to fold two pair here but am I not behind a set/straight most of the time? And who check-raises the flop? |

Re: So I made the tough laydown.... 2 pairs on turn
Good reasoning, but I just don't think I could do this at 6-max. Obviously you respected the 3 better very much. I see too many people playing 5/10 that would three bet this on an openender, an ak/q, an a6, a king high flush draw. Yes, nutty crazy, people, and very capable of somewhat nonsense plays. Now, if you have a good read on the 3-better, or even the raiser, things would look different.
Of course, I have never been very good a laydowns. |
