Default Tommy Angelo will like this one

here is one for Tommy.

I'm playing in 15-30 game and a weak person open limps UTG.
10-handed

I look down at ATo and raise.

THE SB is very tricky and really and honestly believes he's a pro cold calls. BB folds limper calls.

Flop is T T 3 rainbow.

Its checked to me and I throw my chips in like its mandandatory but will a little less umph in my toss while quickly glancing at the SB and then hunching my shoulders down as if I'm weak. He checkraises. I made him do exactly what I wanted him to do, the limper folds and I call.

On the turn falls a 4 putting two spades up there.

He bets out like he's supposed to. I sit and ponder and not one of those fake ponders like i'm ready to pounce one of those hmm ponders like I'm beat and I have to fold ponders.
I raise him. He quickly reraises back.

Now I'm thinking..... ok wow, he really does have a T or a set of 3's.

I reraise and he folds it.

Damnit, I should took him to the river.

I made him go with his gut on that hand and he did.
Good for him.

Hollywood antics will cost you action a lot more frequently than not.

Yeah, Tommy just loves giving away information at the table.

i don't understand what acting weak and then 4-betting is supposed to accomplish. if he's bluffing here, he's obviously folding, and if he's ahead, you're just costing yourself a bunch of money. calling here and raising the river makes way more sense if you've convinced him you're weak with your acting.

Isn't this just a really bad Tommy Angelo impression?

In these kind of spots where it looks like your opponent is trying to make a play vs you and you hold a very strong holding I like to just call down and raise the river. This strategy is best to me becuz of the high probability that the opponent has nothing, so that way he bluffs off the most bets he can. That said, once you raised the turn and he reraised, I would assume he has a Ten too and raise him back, but if you knew that this opponent was capable of 3 bet bluffing the turn than you shouldve given another hollywood act(I had to say it) and just call the turn and raise the river.

You've got a monster hand. Let him bluff the river. If he flopped three's full, there's nothing you can do, but i seriously doubt he plays three's full that fast unless he puts you on A 10.
