Default Standard wait until the turn?

Party Poker 2/4 Hold'em (10 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is UTG+2 with 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. UTG posts a blind of $2.
UTG (poster) checks, UTG+1 calls, Hero calls, 1 fold, MP2 calls, 1 fold, CO calls, 1 fold, SB completes, BB checks.

Flop: (7 SB) 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (7 players)
SB bets, BB folds, UTG folds, UTG+1 calls, Hero calls, MP2 calls, CO folds.

Turn: (5.50 BB) 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (4 players)
SB bets, UTG+1 calls, Hero raises, MP2 folds, SB calls, UTG+1 calls.

River: (11.50 BB) K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 players)
SB checks, UTG+1 bets, Hero calls, SB folds.

Final Pot: 13.50 BB

SB is a donk after 6 hands, UTG+1 is a bigger LAP donk after 60 hands, 45/6.15/1.8. I read a thread some time ago about putting money in on the flop because virtually every card to come is a bad one, was wondering if the same applied here.

Preflop: I think it's close, but I would raise. I'd certainly raise ATs here. Your pot equity edge is pretty decent, so I wouldn't be afraid to bump it up.

Flop: I'd prefer raising here. You likely have the best hand, and there are lots of drawing hands you don't want to stick around (hands like Jx, 5x, K [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]7 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], etc.), so you might as well try to knock them out while you have the chance. IMO, there are two problems with waiting for the turn. One is that there are very few cards that can come that won't make you wince a bit... just a non-heart A, 9, 2, 3 or 4. The other is that you could easily be behind to a hand like 87s that you would likely lose a lot of chips to.

So I like raising the flop here much better than waiting for the turn.

Just my opinion...

With only one caller and two players yet to act I would raise this flop. I would like toisolate the donks, since they will bet and call this flop with a fairly wide range of hands. We would like the other two players out of this hand. Not sure if that's the correct way to play it though...
