You could be... you know you are 3 betting a known TAG on the turn with double gutter and spade draw. Question is how strong do you think that the TAG flopped here, or is he making a play at the pot. I don't mind the play if it is an occasional play, certainly not optimal in the long term.

I certainly think that you are going to be heads up on the end b/c I can't see how the better can call 2 cold here. If he does... then you are in trouble unless you complete. By my estimation you have 9-12 clean outs depending on your opponents holding. All in all, its not a terrible play every once in awhile play. Also, this is the kind of play you can make against a TAG b/c that is the type of player that you can get to lay down a better hand on the end occasionally.

So you're representing exactly 9Q? I think it looks too much like a semi-bluff designed to eliminate SB because there's no way you have two pair. (Why wouldn't you have bet JT or KT with position on the flop?)

This is a very small pot...fold and don't think twice. That said, I kinda like the play as an advertisemen if you do it once in a blue moon in your regular game.

it looks like you haven't played a hand in maybe 10 minutes, and you just got antsy.

that being said, i've done this a couple times in my life, it usually doesn't end well

but i still like doing it.

I didn't do this because I was bored. I fully believe it's a winning play.

What hands does everyone put the TAG on, and which of these will he seriously consider going to showdown with?
