Dumb push at this stage of MTT?
I am a little confused with this hand. Would you all consider this a chip accumulation move? Should I have bet less and release if he raises? I guess the big question is was the the right time in the tournament to gamble it up. I figured if I won this hand I would have enough chips to push around the bubble weakies. Go ahead and flame away!!

Re: Dumb push at this stage of MTT?
looks fine to me. nut flush draw, nut straight draw that is probably good and your king could be good (though i wouldn't count on it)

Re: Dumb push at this stage of MTT?
i just did an equity calculation and you are only 40/60 vs the toughest range of hands (2 pr, sets, and the hand you were actually up against). you're getting 1.6 to 1. its close, but im pretty sure i call this 100% of the itme.
you are actualyl the favorite against the hand you were up against (seems kind of irrelevant, but it works), you just bricked. |
