AA vs Q4
I was playing in a NL circle game the other day, blinds 0,25/0,50, and I was dealt A,A. I'm at the BB. A few people calls, can't remember exactly how many. I raised to $1 and everyone folds exept of the guy at the small blind. He calls me. This guy was new at the table so I had'nt figured out his style yet. Oke the flop comes>
Q,Q,6 He checks and I decide to slowplay. The turn shows> 9 And the guy goes all-in like $10. I call ofcaurse. He has Q,4, what the hell!? River no help for me. Why did he call my raise pre-flop? Am I just unlucky or something or did I do anything wrong? |

Why did he call my raise pre-flop? [/ QUOTE ] Because you only raised the minimum and there was already a fair amount of money in the pot? [ QUOTE ] Am I just unlucky or something or did I do anything wrong? [/ QUOTE ] You didn't raise nearly enough. |

Re: AA vs Q4
So basically, you minraise PF, some guy calls you and goes all in for $10 into a $2 pot and you call. Uh, brilliant.

Re: AA vs Q4
Well he checked after the flop so I really thought he made a stupid bluff or had a 9...I did expect he had a Q. But next time I will either raise more pre flop or get out if the same senario shows.
