Default fold to the conspicuous turn raise?

Party Poker 2/4 Hold'em (10 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is UTG+1 with T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
1 fold, Hero raises, 4 folds, CO calls, Button calls, 1 fold, BB calls.

Flop: (8.50 SB) 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (4 players)
BB checks, Hero bets, CO calls, Button calls, BB folds.

Turn: (5.75 BB) 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3 players)
Hero bets, CO calls, Button raises, Hero ???

I'm kind of torn on whether to call or fold. Board is scary and I'm under the computer desk weeping. The 2nd 6 falling makes for a nice semi-bluffing card for CO, but this felt more like he was trying to extract value.

I'd pay it off if this hand were heads up since there would be a vast increase in the probability that this is a bluff/semi-bluff, but since there is a third party involved, it is very likely you're way, way behind. You have 4 outs to beat a flush/straight and 2 outs to beat a 6. I think you can realistically give yourself 2.75 outs (off the top of my head, may be closer to 2.5 or may be closer to 3). Calling the turn getting only 9.75 to 1 is not profitable here, so I think this is a fold.

I may be losing a lot of money in this situation but with no reads i usually call and pay off a non heart river.

I should've included stats on him, he was a pretty average slightly loose/passive 2/4 player. I folded.
