4 folds, MP2 calls, MP3 :#A500AF(villian)/ calls, 3 folds, Hero checks.

Flop: (3.50 SB) A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 players)
Hero checks, MP2 checks, villian bets, Hero calls, MP2 calls.

Turn: (3.25 BB) K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3 players)
Hero checks, MP2 checks, villian bets, Hero calls, MP2 calls.

River: (6.25 BB) J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (3 players)
Hero checks, MP2 checks, villian checks.

Kzzzt, uh roger, also be advised there is a value bet on that river and that we can pay off a raise, kzzzt, it's very unlikely that anyone holds a queen here, over.

I tend to think about folding this flop. Middle pair in a small pot isn't anything special.

With that said, you MUST raise this turn. I'd probably value-bet the river too

I am somewhat new to 2+2, but here is my line.

I would either fold the flop, or cr-raise to get heads up with the better.

that said, I would def. raise the turn & probably throw in a bet on the river if h/u & check through if 3-way.

I just reread SSHE where calling/raising the flop with MPGK is a decent play. What would make this different?

[/ QUOTE ]I'm pretty sure he also mentions that aces on the flop are bad news because everyone plays them making it more likely that you're behind.

If that's going to be our thinking we need to only play hands with aces in them and fold all non-ace flops.

Villain is going to bet an extraordinarily wide range of hands here, and many of them do not involve an ace. This is a supremely easy non-fold on the flop.

An MP limper holding an A? Could be possible, but I'm c/ring the flop to get it HU. Now if he 3 bets, well then a read would help. You gotta bet/raise that turn. Bet the river too. The flop c/r shoulda knocked out a Q with no pair, so you should be value betting that river.
