Default Two Jacks

UTG is a big aggressive fish. 72/16/3.5 through like 20 hands. I haven't been seen any hands from him yet though. It's not really important though, except for the fact that the villain is isolating him. Villain seems like a very solid player. Could be a 2+2er I dunno.

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ Hero (6 max, 5 handed) converter

Hero ($990)
UTG ($1249.43)
MP ($3776.63)
Button ($729)
SB ($1079.50)

Preflop: Hero is BB with J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. MP posts a blind of $15. SB posts a blind of $5.
UTG calls $10, MP (poster) raises to $35, 2 folds, Hero calls $35, UTG calls $35.

Flop: ($145) T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (3 players)
Hero checks, UTG bets $10, MP raises to $125, Hero calls $125, UTG folds.

Turn: ($405) 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)

I push for 800.

I like it...

MP should find a fold with QQ KK and AA

9 of clubs is a big scare card esp b/c of his large flop bet

Not sure I like it, but it's definitely ballsy. You're really getting into this "all-in" thing - must be liberating.

I think this hand demonstrates quite well why leading with almost everything is usually solid. This overbet seems (to me at least) the result of a lack of any other decent play on the turn. Checking is a disaster, but any hand protecting bet commits you anyway and only gets called when beat. So hero has put himself in the nasty pot of having to make a decision for his entire stack on the flop, with a pot of only 250ish, with the only +EV move being to force villian off QQ-AA (and of course villian has 80% nitrogen 19% oxygen mostly).

And as for f/e over AA-QQ on the turn itself, hero would need 66% folds, but I dont think you get that as AA calls nearly all the time here without a solid read so we're screwed already without even counting the KK-QQ calls.
