Re: When to call raise with Ahigh
The aggression stats are funny, but I'm sure you know they are completely crazy when you have so few hands.
Without better stats or some sort of read, I let this go on the turn. I then make a mental note and look them up if it happens again soon. |

Re: When to call raise with Ahigh
I would fold on the turn, if I notice that he very often plays back at me I might call down.

AF F 1.2 T 2.3 R 4 Under 100 hands [/ QUOTE ] Those stats take a really long time to converge. They are basically useless now. I would fold the turn, but I've heard 10/20 is crazy so I don't know. |

Re: When to call raise with Ahigh
anyone check-call the turn and the river, instead of leading out at the turn?

Re: When to call raise with Ahigh
This may not be the appropriate scenario, but I've read sometimes where Nate tha' Great recommends checking the turn and folding on the river if and only if villain bets both the turn and river. In other words check and call if he bets the turn, but fold if he follows through on the river. I assume check-call the river if he checks behind you on the turn.

Re: When to call raise with Ahigh
Problem with that theory is that on a drawy board semi bluffers will follow through when they miss.

Re: When to call raise with Ahigh
I like it a lot, but a call down to the river on that board is not a bad idea. The board is pretty raggy, and vilain might want to bluff the river too. So I like check/call-check/call here.
