Am i being too aggressive?
Villain is a pretty loose and passive opponent, have gotten to showdown about 34% of the 40 hands i've been playing by his side.
Sorry for the hand being not converted, i'll try to tidy it up a bit 20$NL 0.1/0.2 blinds - rednoddy sitting in seat 1 with $12.02 - norrbaggen sitting in seat 2 with $4.90 - hargo1963 sitting in seat 3 with $18.40 - renetim sitting in seat 4 with $43.77 - Mart001 sitting in seat 5 with $16.42 - Villain sitting in seat 6 with $75.52 - TheGuvnor79 sitting in seat 7 with $25.05 - Ronere51 sitting in seat 8 with $9.50 - Hero sitting in seat 9 with $25.05 - CBiscuit sitting in seat 10 with $14.00 [Dealer] rednoddy posted the small blind - $0.10 norrbaggen posted the big blind - $0.20 ** Dealing card to Hero: T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] hargo1963 called - $0.20 renetim folded Mart001 called - $0.20 Villain raised - $0.80 TheGuvnor79 folded Ronere51 called - $0.80 Hero raised - $2.50 CBiscuit folded rednoddy folded norrbaggen folded hargo1963 called - $2.50 Mart001 called - $2.50 Villain called - $2.50 Ronere51 folded ** Dealing the flop: 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Pot ~10$ hargo1963 checked Mart001 checked Villain bet - $1.40 I felt calling or folding here was too weak in case villain is on a flushdraw, and raising might even get Villain to fold a better holding Hero raised - $4.00 I realize upon reviewing the hand that a raise to at least 8$ would be more appropriate. But it is always scary when someone leads into the preflop raiser with an overcard out there. hargo1963 folded Mart001 folded Villain called - $4.00 ** Dealing the turn: 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Pot ~19$ Villain checked Ah, he checked... Alas - i underbet the pot once again Jimbo83 bet - $5.00 Villain called - $5.00 ** Dealing the river: Q [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Pot ~29$ Villain checked Hero.... |

Re: Am i being too aggressive?
Whoa! its ok to take your foot off the gas pedal at any time u know.
i call the PFR with TT preflop, raising isnt terrible. i dont mind the raise on the flop, but once u get called u gotta give up. if u have it set in your mind that u just wont lose this pot, pot the turn and push the river. but i mean if u really hate money i can give u my neteller account # and i promise ill treat it better than this. |

ok, i know this was a horrible hand, but lets change the subject of the thread to: "what did villain have?"
Since the flushcard and a second overcard to my tens hit, i decided to check behind. Villain mucked and i took down the pot. |

Maybe your weak-ass betting was unintentional perfect play |
