taking a dump in the urinal
NL, 1/2 blinds, 10 handed
Reads: EP is slightly loose and aggressive (especially postflop). BB is a TAG who thinks I'm a rock. All other players in the hand suck. 4 limpers to me, I limp on button with T [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 8 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] with about $250, SB completes, BB checks. Flop: T [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 8 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 3 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (6 players, $12) Checked to EP with $150 who bets $10, folded to me, I call, SB folds, BB (with about $400) raises $20 more, EP folds, I call. Turn: J [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players, $82) BB checks, I bet $50, BB folds. What line should I have used to have extracted the most money out of my opponents? |

Re: taking a dump in the urinal
You should have potted the flop. A lot of cards kill your action on 4th stret, and that J was one of them.
EDIT: Although there probably wasn't much to be won here anyway. |

Re: taking a dump in the urinal
I'd start by pot-raising that first bet. Top two is a hand I want to play fairly fast, esp. with this many in the hand. I wouldn't worry too much about "extraction" to with a hand against which many opponents will be drawing live.
BTW, what's with that analogy? |

Re: taking a dump in the urinal
Two pair, IMO, is not the type of hand you want to slowplay. Bet the pot on the flop, and if anyone sees the turn, pot or 2/3 pot it. The pot you won is fine for two pair.
