Re: Strange hand, totally lost w/TT.
I cap preflop, lead the flop. When Button checks the flop it sure looks like he hit it big. Hope for 99 or 88 I guess.

Re: Strange hand, totally lost w/TT.
Why would button check 88 or 99 on a scary board like that? Even idiots know when they must bet.
Button could be a legendary 30/20 LAG TAG. I think button played the hand badly. |

I bet the flop, bet the turn, then I get to showdown.

Agreeing with everyone here. If you have any foot in the pot, usually passive play is a sure way to lose it.

Re: Strange hand, totally lost w/TT.
I hated every bit of this hand. I think my turn check was the worst street. I was baffled by the button's flop check. Does everyone agree that I should cap this pre-flop? I would cap w/JJ, but TT OOP vs. a cold call and a 3-bet I thought not. As for the result Hero had TT for a set, Button had 99 for a set and CO had QQ for a set. I think button was a moron. (Me too, I guess)

Re: Strange hand, totally lost w/TT.
In shorthanded I'd cap it with 99. Maybe 77 or 88, if its just me and another guy.
