A turn of the wheel

I don't have much of a read on villian by the time I play this hand other than he's been pretty loose preflop (over 40% V$PIP after only 20 hands or so).

My hand, AJo, is weak, but my position is good enough that I figure I can raise here after the field either limps or folds to me on the button.

On the flop, I made a continuation bet hoping to scare off Ax or Kx high cards that missed. I figure that a 5 or a J or an A are probably live outs for me on the turn. When villain called, I put him most likely on a mid-sized overpair, or two high cards like mine (AQ/AK/AJ/AT for example), or maybe somekind of straight draw, or even more likely a strong hand that he is slow playing like A5s/56s for a flopped straight, or a set of 2s, 3s or 4s.

I turn the wheel, but villain check raises me for a large amount. Do I fold with the ignorant end of this straight? Call? Or push?

Calling seems bad since if he has anything other than a 6 I'm giving him a free card to draw to a full house, for example, if he was slow playing a set or 2 pair. If he has A5, then his straight is now counterfeit. But if he really does have the 6, then I'm probably losing my stack by the river unless I fold immediately to that big turn check-raise.
