Default AQ, where am i at?

No reads, I'm fairly new to the table, maybe 10 hands.

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $.50 BB (6 max, 6 handed) converter

SB ($20.27)
BB ($48.25)
Hero ($65.65)
MP ($45.40)
CO ($51)
Button ($45.50)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. SB posts a blind of $0.25.
Hero raises to $2, 3 folds, SB (poster) calls $1.75, BB calls $1.50.

Flop: ($6) Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3 players)
SB bets $2, BB raises to $6, Hero calls $6, SB folds.

Turn: ($20) T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)
BB bets $7, Hero calls $7.

River: ($34) 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)
BB bets $10, Hero calls $10.

Final Pot: $54

Weird spot. I haven't played 6max in a while. Pot is raised and reraised infront of you... I don't think you played it all that poorly, although it sure looks like he can beat a Q on the river. I might make it 20$ on the flop and fold to a push (or further aggression on turn or river), or I might play it exactly like you did.

I was thinking about minraising the turn and taking a free showdown or folding to a river bet. That line any better???

Why do you think this is better than just calling down all the way?

It's possible he shoves alot more than $10 on the river. The only con to it is if he just calls on the turn and leads the river anyhow. But in that case I fold.

Flop MUST be popped to 15. No way around it.

If he just calls, I may push most turns.

Calling the flop is terrible because you gain no information on your opponents holdings, but they still have control of the pot and a good amount of info on yours.

this spot super duper sucks. i dont like to raise this flop as we lose all value out of weaker Qs and we get to showdown for about the same price with a calldown. i think i play it the same as op as long as u plan to fold to a >10 bet on the river.

Seen from Villain's perspective, the turn bet of $7 into a $20 pot is troubling for you because of its size. It makes me think that the turn card helped him. This is probably way off, but I think you got shown K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] for the turned straight with flush redraw. In any case, I'm not sure what hand he's betting on the river that you can beat, but the pot odds justify the call. Tough hand.

Is reraising with KJ suited common at six max...no wonder I got crushed there.

Where in this hand history do you see a reraise? Preflop, I see hero raising UTG and SB and BB calling. On the flop, I see SB making a small bet and BB raising, then hero calling. No reraise here.
