Default Here\'s a bad beat for ya!!!

Was playing at a home game tourney couple days ago, and had QJ. Flop came Q J T. Me and one aother guy, bet call, turn is a Q. We both get it all in and he has AK. River is a J, I win!!!

Guy next to me: Hey that deck doesn't look right count it.

Guy who counts it: There are 64 cards in here wtf!!! including 6Q's and 6J's. Moral of the story, count the deck before you start to play.

Flame away.

I would reccomend doing what cardrooms do. When you put a deck away, sort it in new card order. Whenever, you bring a new deck into play, spread it face up, to make sure all the cards are there (and no extras ), then spread it face down to check the backs for marks. Most cardroom dealers will also count the stub after they deal the river card.
