Playing in internet cafes

With reference to the 'poker and travel' thread below...
I have downloaded two different poker sites and played in an internet cafe. There was no access to the desktop allowed, but I was able to open the programs through explorer.

However.. (a) this was a fairly easy-going place, 'adult' sites were not blocked (apparently) and (b) this is the Uk where online poker is under no legal question at all.
