Stacks (before posting) are approximate except for UTG, who will be all-in in two hands. 4-handed in a Party 109. Blinds 200/400.

UTG 600
Button 5000
SB 3000 (Me)
BB 1200 (2+2er)

Folded to me in SB. I push, cards not important. 2+2er calls with T8s. Results not important either.

FYI, Eastbay's tool says T8s is -1.1%, even if he knows I am pushing any two. On the other hand, a fold here will make it hard for villain to end up with anything but 3rd, and 3rd certainly isn't guaranteed.

with UTG as short as he is, i'd fold. give him a 2k more chips, i'm calling considering 1/3 of my chips are on the table.

Just to clarify, I posted this because the biggest leak in my game is that I have too many third place finishes. I am curious if these are the types of calls that I should be making even though models like ICM say to fold.

Its a clear push, UTG can only last the blind I dont understand why would the 2+2er BB call w/ T8s?
