Default Lv2: A Ko- Tough Decision Early

the only read i have on villian is that he's played alot of pots which got him shortstacked early. he also just doubled up with TP-suspect kicker off of Seat 8 who was chasing a flush draw.

Level II (15/30)
Seat #4 (Villian) is the button
Seat 1: (1515 in chips)
Seat 2: (1900 in chips)
Seat 3: Hero (1650 in chips)
Seat 4: Villian (2125 in chips)
Seat 5: SB (1405 in chips)
Seat 7: BB (1460 in chips)
Seat 8: (1920 in chips)
Seat 9: (1525 in chips)
Seat 5 posts small blind 15
Seat 7 posts big blind 30
*** HOLE CARDS ***
Dealt to Hero [A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] K [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]]
Seat 8 calls 30
Seat 9 folds
Seat 1 folds
Seat 2 calls 30
Hero raises 70 to 100 (preflop, the pot was 105 to me)
Villian (button) raises 2025 to 2125 and is all-in
Seat 5 SB folds
Seat 7 BB folds
Seat 8 folds
Seat 2 folds
Hero folds (after about 60 seconds on comtemplating)
Villian (button) collected 305 from pot

Gotta fold IMHO. Wait for a better spot if he's gonna be overbetting so hugely 10-handed. Just remember to raise when you hit aces and hope he pushes all in .

Well, this is a pretty ridiculous raise, and I don't see how you can call without a big pair. AK will not be enough of a favourte against his range (if at all) to make this call +EV. You gotta fold.

i hated the fact that even if i called, at best i was in a coinflip situation [probably on the low end of it]. i could'nt see calling all my chips so early with the blinds that low and putting it all on the line with A Ko. one thing i see many players make at my level is call the all-in, whether it's insta-call or after comtemplation, not realizing what spot their in in the tournament.
