Well chuffed - Who\'s in the $250K paradise Saturday night ?
I'm in. Just won my first Satellite to get entry.
Well chuffed, only paid $16 - $8 entry and an $8 add-on at the break. One of the previous posters mentioned the HOH book. Well its certainly working for me, since reading Vol 1 the 2nd time round, I've won a few SnG's, but best of all (apart from this win) was I won a MTT $25 buy in on Royal Vegas and scooped $975, and came 3rd in a $10 buy in and got $114. Kinda paid for itself already. Now on to Vol 2....... |

I'm in on 3rd try. Probably spent about $80 on it multitabling with other supersatellites.

Inflection points are ok though, I just find it real hard to stick to em and not play marginal hands in when I'm in Orage/Yellow zone and middle/late without callers. But I'm trying! This will make sense when you read it. And don't expect it to lift your game as dramatically as 1. |

Re: Well chuffed - Who\'s in the $250K paradise Saturday night ?
I'm in in my first MTT! Beginners luck I'm sure, but paid $7 and nixed the re-buy offers. Figured, hell, if I was going to get good at this, I had to suck it out.
Anyhow, questions: 1. How many players do you anticipate? 2. Any idea on the top prize, pay-out structure, etc. I want to make more than my $7 investment! Thanks, David |
