Raise the flop, then possibly take a free card on the turn, depending on the action.

Do you think he calls the river 3-bet with 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] or less? I would just call his minraise.

Lots of ways to play this. I don't mind c/c'ing him down here, but there's no way you should lead the river. C/c'ing there would be best, although he is almost sure to have a better flush than you.

Because of villian's stack size, a c/r push on the flop looks like an interesting option to me. You probably have some FE there. Worth considering.

Also. Preflop play needs to be looked at. To play this hand you are calling an amount that is more than 10% of villians stack. That makes it not worth it to call, as you often have to c/f the flop OOP. A better option IMO is to fold. Or, another better option than just calling preflop, is to push villian all-in preflop.

newbie help for anyone who doesn't know:

c/c = check/call
c/f = check/fold
c/r = check/raise
OOP = Out Of Position
FE = Fold Equity
IMO = In My Opinion
