Default AA in the SB, BB, and UTG

I tried the search function, but it doesn't seem to work right now. Im curious as to what most feel is the appropriate way to play AA in these positions particulary in an unraised pot. Do you think it is better to try and get the most expected value by raising, or would it be better to try and protect your hand by checking than raising the flop? Any input is appreciated.

I have a very simple rule:

"Do not slowplay preflop. PERIOD"

It has served me very well.

Anyone disagree.

What if the game is so tight that an UTG raise is likely to just win the blinds?

(I do like your rule, of course)

I would say that the only exception I can think of is if you are at a table with players who are very familiar with your play - then you may want to slowplay your AA about 10% of the time, I would say - and only AA because you are less concerned about allowing weak drawing hands to see the flop.

I never slowplay KK or AKs.

I have never played in a SSHE game where an UTG raise steals the blinds, but this is at 3/6 and 4/8. The blinds at least always call. In a super tight game where they do fold, maybe limping against one or two opponents when UTG and reraising a button raise is nice.
